FTP Help

I am really stuck here i am typing in ftp.damen57.thesmokylounge.com in smartFTP in the address thing and my details that i set up in the other thing and it keeps saying

[12:22:30] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

so i need help and lots of it i have read all the other people calls for help about FTP and it was no help so can someone help me please!

Have you tried another ftp browser?

This also could be a problem with the server if so i believe SHadmin will see this post and give you some help.

try cuteftp it is the bes in my opinion and are you sure your site is set up?
like have you gotten a pm sytating that you have it?

Umm yes my site is set up well im pretty sure seeing as i can login to the cpanel doesnt that mean its set up

humm this boils dow to two issues.

1) you are not useing the correct login information

2) There is a issue with your account and you need to contact smoky.

In the mean time try to create another account for your ftp and try again.

Yeah he is, I am getting the own problem. With CuteFTP, says it won't connect.

Everything is right, and nothing.... Must be that problem with the server, but this is getting rather useless. Site's can't be unable to be worked on for this length of time, I have a deadline that I must meet. O.o O.O o.O

Oh well I will work on the essentials and then when the server problems are cleared then I will work on the coding and everything.

Edit: It also says it is actively refusing it. That means the server itself is rejecting the connection. I suppose it is a thing we will have to ****ing wait for. :P, Im not mad I just very impatient

FTP: Offline

It's the ftp, thankfully I don't need to upload anything else to my site at this point.

after ther server was back again up from 2 days all mu ftps account in my hosting
are down and cant make me log in i try all ftps progz and dont work too

i use the ftp for all my work at my site now i use file manger

imagine with me how time i spend to give all my files in the host the promotions with file manger :evil:

its realy unbearable :?:

humm well im smoky hosts have a reson for this. so please take it easy and wait it out. And if you site is losing money( :roll: ) then contact smoky if you feel yo need too.
