Will do that if I had the time SHadmin...yeah, the mods here aren't that "active" lol...SHadmin wrote:I keep on updating the forums, deleting unwanted posts as well as locking inactive/useless threads, but at times it may happen that some of them might slip my eyes, so please be patient or please report such threads to me by PM and i shall take care of them.

Excuse me Ipod but some of us Mod's have lives. I happen to work and I have a girl and a baby on the way so excuse me if I ain't able to delete a few posts or monitor a couple hundred posts a day. I barely can get on but maybe 2 hours a day and I do not plan on spending those 2 hours online on here aiming to clean up forums when ShAdmin should have Prune Posts on.
Would help the Moderator's job alot, and a report post mod would be nice too. So that we can actually get on and check certain posts instead of going through every post in a section looking for bad posts so that we can warn someone with a blank warning :P. So Ipod before you go around pointing fingers and saying we Mod's arn't active think we actually have lives and have more important matters to attend to. Thank you.

Lol, yeah, I know, but I was just saying...but we really should have Prune Posts on to get rid of all those old threads.TheCrymsonLegends wrote:Excuse me Ipod but some of us Mod's have lives. Sorry if I snapped I wasn't having a good day then. Prune Posts comes standard with PhpBB, and I believe it should be set on 6 Months, most people revive old posts and it's getting hard for Mod's and Assistant Admin's to hit all these old posts. I can't actually tell what is old and what's new due to the people reviving old posts. Actually set it on 3 Months, if a topic hasn't been posted in, in that length of time, is should be dead enough. Would really help us guys out.

This is a good idea, but would our points decrease would it stay the same and not be affected?TheCrymsonLegends wrote:Sorry if I snapped I wasn't having a good day then. That I actually do not know, I have had a few Forums of my own without a Cash System and when I deleted a Post I do recall it lowering my Post Count of course I cannot Confirm this.
That may be a reason why this hasn't been initiated but I do know I ain't going through and locking posts lol. It's been too much of a hassle locking the 12 or so I did. I have found an easier way I do not know if SHAdmin knows about it or not but on Evo Mods, which obviously Smokyhosts isn't run on PHP Nuke Evolution but they do have a Mod that AUTOMATICALLY Locks posts that reach a certain age. If there could be one found for this Version of PhpBB then it would help out alot. Just a suggestion.

Thanks to point it out, i shall search out if this kind of mod actually exists, and after testing for its reliability (that is if it exists ofcourse) i shall implement on this board.Freedom Fighter wrote:I believe there is a mod you can get for phpbb and IPB that is a archive system inwitch it will move all posts older than a set date, or inavtive days to a forum labled archived and it will auto lock them but they will still be there for a refrance.
Meanwhile if you know where i can get such mod for phpbb, please paste a link to that mod here.
