Forms don't Work

I know this will sound a bit noobish (basic) but i use front page and i cant seem to get my forms to work. Whenever somebody **** submit it goes to a 404 error page (--WEBBOT SELF-- comes up in address bar).
What does --WEBBOT SELF-- mean?

post here some of yout html code, because i'm not nood in html but i dont understand what is wrong without seeing html code. So the it would be the best if you post your html code of all page or form's html code:

webbot self is windows server commands for specific actions. eg storing contents of a form in a flat file and then displaying them on another page.

Dont worruy, fixed the problem, only minor glitch, i mis-spelt 1 attribute.
