Writing/coding a list of instructions in a programming language that tells a computer to perform a task/s.

Computer programming is the writing/modding of programs. The best way to explain is Your operating system wether it be Windows/Linux or anything else was programmed, which consists of a Computer Programmer writing the code :). Hope this helps.
