Photoshop Version differences

Can anyone tell me the main differences between Photoshop 6, 7 and CS?
I am thinking of upgrading but am unsure if it is worth the $$

I'm pretty sure that it's just a few filter and opyion changes. They add more, they update for the users to upgrade.

there r more extra featurs in CS 2 version .. u can find patched versions on net insted of buying a new one...

I advise you to save your money until CS3 stable version comes out. Photoshop CS3 beta is out now, so I think it won't be too long until the 'real' photoshop CS3 release.
