You can register a free .info domain name for a period of 1 year.

However, currently it is not decided how long will the offer live.

Yes, after 1 year, if you still would like to keep your domain name, you will have to renew it for continuing to use it.

i think you can renew with earning points, but it is very likely that this 450 will increase during one year
you can also buy it next year if you can earn enough money with your site
actually that's very cheap $2.50 than other domains which are $8.99
which is $9.00

Please remember if your going to take this offer try to earn the points properly and try not to spam to get there. 450 Points seem like a long time but it would only take 1 month posting 15 posts a day, of course there is no limit just try not to revive old posts, and post 1 - 2 word posts

Currently the domain names can NOT be renewed using your points. The points system for free domains is only for signingup new domain names, not for renewing any current domain names untill further notice.
