Some curiousity about CGI programs...

I've seen there're some CGI editing programs around. And I'm currently translating a CGI game only with wordpad... Do I actually need a CGI editor or it's ok to just translate and edit a few numeral data with wordpad?

no you do not need any cgi editor
it just like you don't need any html editor to create websites, you can do it with notepad
of course with those editors it's more easy and comfortable
