Dont get into discussion whether opera or mozilla has better security. As long as you are not using IE you'll be fine.

There's nothing wrong with Opera. It's a great browser. Opera had features like tabbed browsing before any of the major browsers. It also has a lot of other cool features like mouse gestures, user style sheets, etc. I've been using Opera ever since it was first released and I think it's a good browser.

Having said that, I'll admit that it's not the browser I use most often these days. My wife still uses it as her main browser, but I tend to use Mozilla and Firefox more. I use Mozilla a lot, not because I think it's the best browser, but because the way it integrates its email client and browser helps me a lot with some of the work I do online. For 'regular' browsing, I use Firefox. It's a good browser, and I really like the fact that there are lots of extensions available for it.

I use IE as little as possible, and it really bugs me when I have to use it because some web designer or another couldn't be bothered to make their site work properly using other browsers.

Cheers,

Wil
