Change a domain?

Post by MrAlex »

OK,
I have bought a domain name from smokyhosts,
like a month ago.
Is it possible to change the domain name?
As in, I want to change from example.com to thisname.com

I dont think that is possible, since Smokyhosts buy the domain and sell it to you.

Most likely it's not possible unless you catch SHAdmin on a good day. :P

No I dont....I could also just move my domain to a domain hosted that has the ability to let you change your domain name...

No, it is not possible to change a domain name. It is technically impossible, coz the tld owners themselves wont allow!
