currently i'm running a forum on vBulletin for which i have no other access rights than moderating it (the board will be maintained by a provider). For several reasons (server failures, lost threads, etc.) i want to go ahead with an own vBulletin installationon my own server. Unfortunately the provider is not willing to provide me a database dump.
I'm wondering if there is any possibility to parse the board threads automatically to convert and save them to a text file to re-import it into my new vBulletin.
Any help is strongly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Parsing vBulletin Threads
You may or maynot be able to parse them, but you surely can take a backup of your current database and then restore it after you intsall your own vbulletin forum.
