if I want setup a forum system.

As far as my opinion, i love both invision board and phpbb. However since recently invision board team has removed their fully featured trial script. So if you are planning to buy the script then i guess invision board should be perfect, but otherwise you can go for phpbb.

The support for phpbb is given free at their forums at http://www.phpbb.com and is also given by the invision team for their script once you purchase their script.
