I would prefer Geforce, I've been using my GF2 32Mb card for a long time.
Watching movies, playing games, all works fine although I can't push it to highest quality, but it's acceptable (at least for the games that I play).

I used to have Radeon 9200 but switched to 9250 after it conked out. I never tried any nVidia cards before.

I would definately go with a GeForce, I have a GeForce 4Mx which is a pretty out of date graphics card and i get 60 fps on cs which isnt great but can handle source which requires alot graphics capabilities. I'd definately recomend you pick Nvidia.

yah, nvidia are good with gaming especially if interested in that , but really good graphics with nvidia.
