if you can put one together yourself just by the stuff from http://www.newegg.com or http://www.zipzoomfly.com if you can't i'd suggest learning to and bu ying the parts from them since you can get a machine thats worth 12k usd from dell for 2k usd from http://www.newegg.com or http://www.zipzoomfly.com

pentium4, 512mb ram, 80gb hard drive, 64mb mx video card

Well $860 sounds reasonable and the other stuff.. but $12,000? Holy cow thats a lot though.. live in the U.S. so there might be one computer that costs that much, but it'll be hard to find one though.

When it was bought its price was about 700$. It was in 2001. It's been upgraded so many times since that time so I think its price for now must be much higher.
