How to fix scratches on a CD/DVD

Post by salmjak »

Things you need:
-toothpaste
-water
-towel and/or toilet paper

Step one:
Cover the side of the CD/DVD that you want to fix with some toothpaste (not much is necessary, just make sure it covers everything)

Step two
Take the toilet paper and press hard at the CD/DVD, then spin the CD/DVD clockwise while you press, your thumb and fingers should cover the radius of the CD/DVD (so all the toothpaste will "follow" when you "spin" the CD/DVD).

Step three
After you've spinned it around a couple of times you can throw away the bit of toilet paper and wash away the toothpaste from the CD/DVD with some water, then the CD/DVD just need to dry and then it should be fixed :)

Particular Flavor?

That is a wild way, but it makes perfect sense. It simply fills in the scratches as long as they aren't too deep. Cinnamon or Mint flavor. Think it matters? ;)

Is this method secure? Or your CD/DVD can blow up?
