How to change Windows menus and dialogue language

Post by sakhan »

You can easily change Graphical user interface of your windows to other than the default language

To change the language of your dialogue boxes and menus you need a setup file from microsoft called muisetup.exe you can get this file from your msdn subscription (The MSDN Library is an essential resource for developers using Microsoft tools) or

You can get multilangual CD from microsoft

Once you have the CD
-Explore the CD
-run MUISETUP
-Agree to the License agreement
-Choose the languages you want to install for interfaces

after installation you need do the following steps
-Goto control Panel
-Regional Settings
-Select the Language Tab
-You will see an option language to use in menus & dialogues
-choose one
-apply
-ok

you are done to see the effects
-Logoff
-log back in

now you should see the choosen language in both your menus & dialogues
Hopes this helps
