my boss gave me one of these as a gift not too long ago... yeah, its tiny, and awesome... but mine is already broken. i think i attempted to hack it so i wouldnt have to use itunes. and it seemed to be working fine until the other da it just wouldnt work. now, i cant even use itunes to recognize it. sure, its a great product, but i dont like the whole iWorld around it.

peace.

dude i have the same problem i was using vpod for a while and then one day i had to go outside fast so i unplugged it from usb withouht closing it and now the whole damm thing dont work. Luckily i still have my phone to listen to my fav. music.
My pc can recoqnize the ipod but i have no acces to it. I tried reformating it , that didnt work. And itunes doesnt recognize it.
Instead of itunes u can use vpod for transferring music to shuffle is way more easy and u can plug your shuffle in any pc and edit/add music to shuffle withouht loosing your songs already on shuffle.

vpod site is http://www.vonnieda.org/vPod/
