Blender

Post by barnes »

Blender is a free open source 3D modelling, texturing, and animating program. I was curious about the program so I gave it a shot. I downloaded the free software, and booted it up. Problem is, this software is very detailed.

I went on Blenders site and found a Wikibook that I read, and afterwards it is very simple.

With just a month in Blender, I am already making models for HalfLife2 mods. I'm still learning more texturing and skinning, but it fun.

For anyone who has ever wanted to do CGI animation, make models for video games, anything like that, try this out. If you do try, and run into issues that tutorials are not telling you, let me know. PM me, or email me and I'll try and help you out.

You can find tutorials and downloads at http://www.blender.org

So, does anyone else use Blender?
