You can tell if your RAM is damaged if any of the following are true:
  1. Your computer is running exceedingly slow
  2. The amount of RAM in System Properties (Start-key+Pause/Break) doesn't match the amount installed in your computer
  3. On startup you get a blue screen that says something about "memory" and your computer resets itself within 1 second of seeing the blue screen
