Intel is better

Neither.

If you were to ask me a year and a half a go i would have said a firm "AMD", their 17 stage pipeline kicked the crap out of a more expensive, hotter, and less effiicient intel.

Now, intel is better, the core2duo's are very good CPU's and are much better then the AMD AM2 counterparts at the same speed ratings. You could say intel has caught up. Now, the thing is, intel is going back into there past form, which is bad. There newest kits; core2quad's, are nice indeed but they are not true quad core cpu's, they consist of 2 true dual cores, basically strapped together by duck tape. Similar to the pentium D's. It's the lazy man's way.

Intel will have to fix that before i crown them the better maker.

I use an AMD Sempron atm its ok, so i chose AMD
