nVidia vs Radeon

I prefer Nvidia coz It can be modified to a large extent.
visit guru3d.com and you will know why nvidia rules.

Nvidia is very good but now i think ati have very powefull card like 4870 one.

yes, nvidia is always better and nothing can provide what nvidia can, and do take better one, dont see the cost if want better performance.

This computer has a radeon x800xt platinum GFX card; the first card developed with high dynamic lighting support.

Playing through half life 2 lost coast, a game designed to test high dynamic lighting and refraction, the ATI control center warned me that the GFX card was overheating; and therefore underclocked it massively.

My solution was to get Riva Tuner, and set the fan to 200 or so percent. Riva Tuner works fine; the fan is speeding up, but the overheating problem still remains when running games.

Next, I took the side off my computer, and put 2 spare fans right next to the graphic card.

The overheating still happens.
