Makes me want to take the GPU and convert it to run as a processor. Of course it would probably end up doing the same thing as a Processor if converted to do so.

I loved the GPU part it was mind blowing.

I think some Nvidia cards support the use of its processing power to solve some mathematical equations, like protein folding etc.

Interesting video, besides what is obvious I don't understand the rest.

(Considering I do Hardware IT at College ... I find that to be a bad thing.)

This demonstration is purely for the sake of PR and not education.
It clearly demonstrated the supriority of parrellel thread to serial. And at the same time a promotion of the Nvidia graphic card series, by Mythbuster.

This is the power of PR. Lousy product + Famous celeb = Good sales.
