Yep, then you go to "P" plates. Which I think means provisional.

Here, in the United Kingdom (UK), you have to be 17 and from here you can get a provisional license and then pass at any age, even 17.

That sounds annoying, 15 is long enough to wait.

It's a costly process too, so, it's just as well that it's so late--I guess.

In a tiny country like mine, it's better to control the number of cars on the road at any one time. And make sure that the drivers are mature thinkers

I think America has different ages depending on the state you live in because here you can get a Learners Permit at 15 but you cannot drive accross the state lines because the state next to me doesn't recognize driving at that age. Full on license is at 16 but they are restricted as to how late you can be out, how many people you can have in the vehicle and everything. At 18 the restrictions come off but you still have a colorful license which shows you cannot buy alcohol until you are 21.

This will be a pretty good information for some of us, or at least me. I've always wondered whats the legal driving age of all countries.

For Singapore, the legal driving age is 18.

Whats yours? Is it the same nationwide?
Provisional in this country is 17 and full is 18
