The Chinese Sichuan 汶川 has had 8.0 magnitude of big earthquakes, already created to at present had more than 30,000 dead.

汶川 the big earthquake has created 40,075 people to die is injured 247,645 people .

I hope that no more people die. It's so sad when so many people die. But unfortunately there is no way to prevent natural earthquakes.

No way to avoid, but there are ways to minimise the effects...
It is just without a doubt little effort is being done protecting those people.

What ways are there to minimise effects? I've never heard of any way to prevent earthquake damage, all I can think of is an early warning system to allow people to evacuate.

Big cities all have it, why no cheng du? low GDP doesn't mean it has small population.
