Absolutely loved every minute of this movie. Usually I'm not too crazy about Tarantino's movies, but this one is definitely the best one I've seen in a long time. The actors were picked perfectly. The overall experience of a movie is amazing. When we first went to watch it, I was a bit skeptical and thought I'd end up leaving an hour into the movie (it's a 3 hr movie), but it grabbed my attention from the very beginning and I didn't even wanna get up to go to the bathroom, afraid to miss something. I'm usually very particular about the movies, nothing can hardly satisfy me, but this one is definitely in the top 5. Soundtrack was perfect. When I got home, I've done some more research on it and loved it even more! Overall, I would highly recommend this film!

A lot of people in my area seem to like this movie. I'm not quite one of them. I have more of mixed reviews about movies like this because it kinda gives a message about a certain part of history, and brings more of a certain message out. Some messages are good, and some are not. I'm not a big fan of hearing the 'n' word because it brings up another subject which I rather not mention within these forums.

Storyline, okay. Certain things within it, not so okay.

this movie made quite a splash down here when it debuted and for good reason. it's a prety awesome movie by a number of standards. i think what i like about it is that it brings back some things that mvies in recent times seem to have left behind. good movie; I recommend.

it was entertaining, but it was really dragged out - I don't mind lots of talking but essentially it had 3 acts "Django is freed", "Django finds his wife", "Django kills everyone"

The movie could have been done in 30 minutes.

Tarantino writes excellent dialogue, he has the visual eye as well, but not all of his movies are masterpieces. Theres a few in there that are certainly very good. That much is certain.

Judging from the trailers it appears that Django Unchained will be a Kill Bill in a Western setting. Hope its good. Didnt care that much for Inglourious Basterds but there were some excellent scenes in it. In my books Death Proof was infinitely better. The dialogue in that is just killer.
