mySQL & Java Connector Interface..

In order for Java to use mySQL it requires the below item - Connector-J. or else one would have to stick with a .jdb - java proprietary database which cannot be used across a network so easy.

this solves that pain..

Maybe not talked about but still used and wanted albeit with a whole chunk of other stuff..

The Cell Phone market is gobbling up Java.. - Check your phone for add-ons , etc..

Any thoughts on Perl..??

Java is still quite popular, espicaly in developing mobile phone applications because it's small and easy. Well maybe not easy.
