iFrame transparency?

Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I'm attempting to place an iframe in a page and make both the frame and the scrollbar transparent. The problem is that when I do so, the text becomes shadowy and almost impossible to read, like the text on this site: http://nadine.fan-arts.net/lits/main.h...

I honestly don't understand how she got to be quite as popular as she is.

Kudos to whoever did the electronic fiddling with her voice, but the girl herself isn't all that talented. If she'd sit down and shuddup I'd like her just fine. :D
