The effects were great, but the characters were annoying! The teenager was stupid, the kid was a whiner, and the dad was just irritating. :P

It's a great movie--I love how they worked in important issues but still made it a fun kid's movie.

The movies are good if you can ignore the dialogue, but the same can be said for Harry Potter movies. :P The HP movies keep leaving out stuff from the book, and it lowers the appeal of the movies--to me, anyway.

The movie's actually pretty good, in a crazy sort of way. I liked it better than the original, though the book is better than them both.

Well, it could be fun. I went to see that dumb movie about the killer video game--I don't even remember what it's called, but it was a good time. If nothing else, you can mock it with friends.

WinDVD bothers me because (on my computer at least) it ALWAYS remembers where you left off--i.e. when you put the same DVD into the player it will go back to the same spot. Handy except when you turn on features such as commentary that can't be turned off!
