Right now Gmail is offering me 2,646 Mb of storage. Tomorrow it'll be a little more. Right now I'm using a whopping 5 Mb of storage for my main Gmail account. Not even 1% of the total available to me. I'm not too worried about a web service that claims to offer more storage than Gmail. What in the w...

There's nothing wrong with Opera. It's a great browser. Opera had features like tabbed browsing before any of the major browsers. It also has a lot of other cool features like mouse gestures, user style sheets, etc. I've been using Opera ever since it was first released and I think it's a good brows...

Cool! Lots of links to lots of great games. I know not everybody enjoys Flash games, but I spend a lot of time in front of the computer and I enjoy them as a way to take a break and kill some time. Plus they're great for my kids, and keep them from wanting me to buy them new computer and console gam...

I agree about avoiding the SSDs. The price is likely to be ridiculously high unless you really, really need one for some reason. Ravine gave you some good advice -- consider buying the parts you need and build it yourself. That is often , but not always, the cheapest way to go. If you just want to u...

Sometimes, especially for big complicated sites, using Dreamweaver can be helpful. It can really cut down on the amount of code you have to type in. But as TimedArt suggested, it can be good to spend time using Dreamweavers Codeview mode. It can help a LOT of you know HTML enough to know whether Dre...

Even better if you can use CSS to do the layout and avoid frames, iframes, and tables altogether. Also, there are lots of templates available that are either free, or very low-cost. Try Googling 'free templates' or similar and see what's available. In many cases, you can quickly and easily change th...

I have used Dreamweaver for years, and still do for big projects. But for smaller sites with relatively simple pages, I like using a simple text editor -- usually something a little more advanced than WordPad, but not much -- or a more web-specific editor like WebCoder. There are a lot of great thin...
