Yes I do, but not in a long time. Where I live, it isn't illegal to smoke. Or to grow enough for personal use. Only to grow large amounts, and to buy and sell.

I like WinAmp, but I agree the GUI could be a lot more user-friendly.

And I always keep an updated version of Windows Media Player on hand to handle things WinAmp can't or won't play.

I love Google Earth!

I use it, if not quite every day, at least once a week! And I'll use it more when it has more detail for Australia.

True, but "Office applications' aren't just for people in offices. But you're right, it's definitely not going to work for a lot of businesses. But it might work for some . I know a lot of people using all sorts of different ways to try to keep their data as mobile as their jobs require -- lapt...

Definitely much better than standard IE, but I've tried it and didn't like it that much.

To me, I'd rather just use a whole different browser (Opera, Mozilla, Firefox) than any IE-based browser.

Good article. Thanks for the link!

I also like the 'indestructable' part. Sounds like it could be a cool way to give my 7-year-old his own laptop. Of course I wouldn't tell him it was indestructable -- he'd most likely see that as a challenge.

I just did it again and it worked fine. Are you sure you **** the 'Assessment' button? Some people have told me they automatically **** the button on the left without paying much attention, but that's the 'Clear' button.

What Kind of Net Connection Do You Have?

I was just reading about a new broadband service being offered in the UK that gives users download speeds of up to 24 megabits per second, and upload speeds of up to 1.3 megabits per second. For £24 (US$ 43) a month. According to the info I read, that's a lot faster than other broadband services bei...
