I prefer using FlashFXP too, i like the design structure and the easy handeling.
At the end every ftp browser does the same only with some exceptions, for example the ability to change chmod rights or to make a secure ftp connection.

I think the key is making it make the search engine as powerfull as big ones but with the option to avoid searching for specific things like meta tags.
A fully cutomizable search whould be great!
